It takes about 200 days of work for the bees, which travel 40’000 kilometers and gather 800’000 flowers, to produce 1 kilo of honey. The passion and patience of the volunteers of the Rucher de Saint Prex, the beekeepers’ association of the Ferring Pharmaceutical Group<\/a>, are matched only by their generosity.<\/p>\n

Indeed, this corporate apiary, created in 2014, has a dual mission: Save the bees and support a charity<\/span>. To do this, a chain of solidarity is in place. Fifteen volunteers from the Ferring Pharmaceutical Group<\/a> take care of the 8 hives. They manage the entire process. First, they receive support from the company, which covers all costs. These volunteers are also supported by the employees who buy and donate 5 Chf more per jar of honey. On behalf of the children, the families and the OVA team, thank you all and congratulations for this exemplary commitment.<\/p>\n
